Sifu Terry Condren graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in experimental psychology. There, he was involved in behavioral research that analyzed the subtle physiologic changes common to Zen and Transcendental Meditators and others in relaxed or meditative states. He has also studied philosophy and world religion, achieving a Masters of Divinity degree, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. He has a familiarity with several forms of T’ai Chi Ch’uan, having studied the Wu and Kwang Ping systems and, more extensively, as a student of the Yang form with Professor Vince McCullough, Push Hands with Chris Luth, and the Sun form with Dr. Paul Lam. In addition, he has been a certified to teach the innovative program “Tai Chi for Arthritis” that has been developed for arthritis patients by Dr. Lam in conjunction with arthritis foundations, worldwide.
